Max Pijlman

Max Pijlman works at Van Kaam as an associate.
Max specializes in intellectual property law and media law. He enjoys handling cases related to freedom of expression in the context of the current digital era. Max has extensive experience in litigation before the courts as well as in arbitration.
Max studied Law at Leiden University, where he also completed his Master's in Civil Law, specializing in intellectual property law. He wrote his thesis on portrait rights and participated in the extracurricular Honours College Law program.
Max began his career at Pels Rijcken, where he worked for five years in the Innovation, Privacy, and Technology section.
Max is a member of the Association for Copyright (VvA).
